This is mainly common sense.
The harbour is accessible in most conditions. Force 6 and under for use of Christchurch bay.
We retain the right to be able to cancel booked sessions if the weather is above the recommended category for the vessel booked.
Yes - You will need to contact one of our team and we can offer an optional insurance for your booked session. You will also need to hold a Ski Boat Driver Level 2 Qualification (usually a 1 day course)
We have a dedicated phone 7 days a week, daylight hours, in case of emergencies.
Yes - On busy weekends there could be a chance of this, we will do our best to avoid this for our members.
At this moment in time we do not allow memberships to be shared.
Person who holds the membership is allowed to helm the vessel, if you would like to add extra drivers for your session this is possible with extra insurance and associated RYA level 2 qualification.
You can take the vessel up to 20 nautical miles from home port, each boat has a different range capability, so please check with out staff if you are planning a big trip.
With the use of new boats and outboards this will minimise the chance of this happing, all are boats are covered by Sea Start in case this situation happens.
