Why use aluminium hulled vessels?

Aluminium is stronger that conventional GRP built boats, not to mention much lighter!

Due to the light weight of aluminium construction compared to GRP this allows for small outboards to be fitted, which brings down fuel consumption on our range of vessels.

With Aluminium hulls this allows the user to put the boat on the beach knowing there will be no damage to the vessel, in Christchurch harbour there are many  place you can take advantage of this.

Aluminium hulls are far more eco friendly compared to the GRP alternatives. Production of an aluminium hull is much greener than all the resins used in GRP. Also once the hull needs to be retired aluminium is recyclable whereas GRP has to go to landfill.
